UD Users' Group Goes Green
This year the Executive Group will "Go Green" and conduct paperless elections.
According to Jeff Walter, President, UD Users' Group, "This year we opted for electronic balloting for a few reasons. Namely the fact that our Business Meeting is taking place on the front end on Connections this year. In addition, a great deal of time and money was spent on the paper ballot method. We also believe that this will enhance the number of ballots cast by CU's that are unable to attend (Connections) for whatever reason" he explained.
However, with the introduction of paperless ballots come new challenges.
According to our By Laws, each member (which is a dues paying credit union) is entitled to one (single) vote.
Assuming that your CU is a member, you must designate a "Voting Delegate" to vote on behalf of your CU.
Editors Note: Be on the lookout for an email announcing Nominations Open as well as follow up emails concerning electronic Voting Booth opening.

Nominations - Open!
Those interested in runing for a position should ensure that they're logged in and navigate to the "News" section to obtain the nessessary forms.
NOTE: You (your CU) must be a member to be eligible to run for a position.
This year there will be 3 Executive positions open for the UD Users' Board.
The positions becoming available are:
- Service Bureau, 2 yr.
- Service Bureau, 3 yr.
- In House, 3 yr.
Why run? Well, as one of those who have fulfilled their term, I can say that if you're one of those that would prefer to be a part of the solution rather than just grumbling about it, you want to run!
If you enjoy helping others, you want to run!
If you enjoy putting what's important for a majority in front of what's important for you, then you want to run!
If you enjoy being a part of shaping an already great product making it better, then you want to run!
This year we are planning on voting electronically so that all eligible (whether attending Connections or not) have a greater opportunity to vote.
More concerning Nominations will be communicated in the soon to be released News Letter.
